Attention deficit hyperactivity syndrome is one of the types of neurobehavioral disorder characterized by pervasive inattention and hyperactivity-impulsivity and resulting in significant functional impairment.Attention deficit hyperactivity syndrome leads to failure to listen to instructions, inability to organize oneself and school work, fidgeting with hands and feet, talking too much, and having trouble paying attention to and responding to details.
CAUSES OF ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY SYNDROME
The main factors which leads to the development of Attention deficit hyperactivity syndrome are:-1. Due to hereditary.

4. Failing to follow instructions or finish tasks .
DIAGNOSIS OF ATTENTION DEFICIT HYPERACTIVITY SYNDROME
Besides closely watching activities of a child which falls under the above symptoms, clinically it can also be diagnosed by various imaging techniques of brain like:-1. Neurometrics.
2. PET scans.
3. FMRI or SPECT
