Treatment for acute stress disorder generally includes combination of antidepressant medicines and short-term psychotherapy.Acupuncture can also be recommended as a treatment for acute stress disorder. Alternative treatment may include meditation, breathing exercises, and yoga with short-term psychotherapy.
