Arthritis is not a single disease. Arthritis is a group of around 100 bone diseases. In other words arthritis is a chronic disease in which joints get infected by any infection. Arthritis includes following other conditions also.

Osteoarthritis - Osteoarthritis is a type of arthritis in which cushioning cartilage becomes break down. Osteoarthritis Also known as degenerative arthritis or degenerative joint disease (DJD). Generally happens in joints of feet, knees, hips, and fingers.

Rheumatoid Arthritis - In Rheumatoid Arthritis the synovial membrane of joints are affected by immune system. In severe conditions joints may be damage. It may be happen in any joint but it affects whole body. Generally found in women.

Ankylosing Spondylitis Arthritis - Ankylosing Spondylitis Arthritis is a disease in which spine becomes fused and rigid.

Juvenile Arthritis - Juvenile Arthritis is very well known condition of arthritis that generally affects children. High fevers are main symptom of it. Juvenile Arthritis is of 3 types depending on number of joints affected by Juvenile Arthritis.

Psoriatic Arthritis - Psoriatic Arthritis is quite similar to rheumatoid arthritis in which
Bone and other joint tissues become inflammed. Generally affects whole body joints.

Gout Arthritis - Gout Arthritis generally affects big toe but may happen in any joint.
