OCULAR HISTOPLASMOSIS

INFORMATION ON OCULAR HISTOPLASMOSIS:-

Ocular histoplasmosis is one of the kinds of retinal disease. Ocular histoplasmosis may be defined as the development of abnormal blood cells under retina due to exposure of eye to a typical type of fungus called histo fungus. Ocular histoplasmosis can cause bleeding and scarring of eye.


CAUSES OF OCULAR HISTOPLASMOSIS:-

The various factors which leads to the development of ocular histoplasmosis are:-

1. Breathing of dust particles.
2. Presence of virus called histoplasmosis.


SYMPTOMS OF OCULAR HISTOPLASMOSIS:-

1. Bleeding form eye.
2. Blurry vision.
3. Blind spot.
4. Scar in retina with severity.


TREATMENT OF OCULAR HISTOPLASMOSIS:-

As the main cause of development of ocular histoplasmosis is virus called histo, this revel that it can be treated with antibiotics. But if condition becomes complicated then laser surgery can be employed in order to remove tiny, abnormal blood vessels.
