BASAL CELL CARCINOMA

INFORMATION ON BASAL CELL CARCINOMA:-
Basal cell carcinoma is one of the type of skin cancer. Basal cell carcinoma generally forms near eyes and nose area. Basal cell carcinoma formation takes place from lower part of the eye. Basal cell carcinoma is not  painful but can result in shaping of eye lid inward and outward.
CAUSES OF BASAL CELL CARCINOMA:-
The causes which lead to the development of Basal cell carcinoma are:-
1. exposure to ultra-violet radiation.
2. formation of painless lumps and bumps.
3. exposure to x-rays.
SYMPTOMS OF BASAL CELL CARCINOMA:-
1. Pearly or waxy appearance.
2. Visible blood vessel.
3. A sore that will not heal.
TREATMENT OF BASAL CELL CARCINOMA:-
Although the cancer does not spread in most cases, but it is highly important to detect it early. Radiation and surgery are both effective tools that can help remove the growth. In order to avoid basal cell carcinoma, people should avoid excessive sunlight and wear glasses to protect the fragile area around the eye.
