Astigmatism is a physical condition arises when shape of cornea is not circular dome. Due astigmatism severe headache, eye strain can come into picture. Astigmatism can be due to improper shape of lens which is located behind cornea.

CAUSES OF ASTIGMATISM:-

The main reasons which result in the development of astigmatism are:-
1. Astigmatism can be due to hereditary.
2. Astigmatism can be result of eye injuries.
3. Astigmatism can be result of severe disease.

SYMPTOMS OF ASTIGMATISM:-

1. Blurry vision.
2. Distorted vision.
3. Headache.
4. Eyestrain.
 

TREATMENT OF ASTIGMATISM:-

1. Contact lenses or glass.
2. Lasik eye surgery.
