SUBCORTICAL ARTERIOSCLEROTIC ENCEPHALOPATHY
Subcortical Arteriosclerotic Encephalopathy also named as binswanger disease is a form of multi-infarct dementia (Caused by damage to deep white brain matter). It is characterized by loss of memory and intellectual function and by changes in mood. Sometimes it is referred to as subcortical dementia, is a rare form of dementia characterized by cerebrovascular lesions in the deep white-matter of the brain, loss of memory and cognition, and mood changes.
