INFORMATION ON SEIZURE
Seizure is a sudden disturbance or disorder that is happened due to abnormal electrical discharges from brain cells and often in the cerebral cortex. Seizure is also known as Epilepsy. Seizure is not an individual disease but it is a group of disorders for which recurrent seizures are the main symptoms. Usually, Transmission of nerves occurs in a systematic way in our brain. When Seizure happens then these nerves generate uncoordinated electrical discharges those can spread in our brain and this can be possible in normal and abnormal both type of nerve cells.

CAUSES OF SEIZURE
Common causes of seizure are:

10. Emotional trauma.
11. Hyperventilation.
12. Movement disorders.

SYMPTOMS OF SEIZURE
Symptoms of seizure are:
1. Uncontrollable twitching or jerking of part of the body.
2. Prolonged muscle spasms spreading to the arms and legs.
3. Hallucinations, which may be visual or involve other senses such as hearing, touch, or taste.
4. Loss of control of your bladder muscles so that you wet yourself.
5. Temporary confusion.
DIAGNOSIS OF SEIZURE
Test under diagnosis are:
1. Blood tests.
2. ECG monitoring.
3. Electrocardiogram ECG.
4. Holter monitor.
5. External loop recorder.
6. Carotid sinus massage.
7. Electrophysiology (EP) study.
TREATMENT OF SEIZURE
For the treatment of seizures medications are recommended but also surgery on the area of the brain where the seizures occur is necessary. People with uncontrolled seizures should not drive. Each state has a different law that determines which patients are allowed to drive. People with seizures also should not swim or bike alone.
