Kuru is an extremely rare disease. Kuru is a degenerative nerve disease caused by a infectious protein (Prion) transmitted to humans via contaminated human brain tissue.

CAUSES OF KURU:-

1. eating human brain tissue

SYMPTOMS OF KURU:-

1. Difficulty in walking.
2. Incoordination.
3. Difficulty while Swallowing.
4. Fatigue.
5. Headache.
6. Weight loss.

DIAGNOSIS OF KURU:-

The clinical methods which are used to diagnose symptoms of kuru are:-

1. MRI.
2. EEG.
3. Biopsy.

TREATMENT OF KURU:-

There are no available treatments for kuru. It is relentlessly progressive, incurable, and fatal. Supportive care for the patient and his or her family is the only treatment
