INFORMATION ON CEPHALIC DISORDERS
Cephalic disorders caused by genetic conditions are congenital conditions that stem from damage to or abnormal development of the budding nervous system. Cephalic disorders can also caused by exposure of the mother and developing fetus to infections, toxic substances, medications, or radiation. Patients suffering from this diseases some dies, others remain totally disabled, and an even larger population is partially disabled, functioning well below normal capacity throughout life.

Synonyms of Cephalic Disorders are:
1. Macrencephaly.
2. Agyria.
3. Lissencephaly.
CAUSES OF CEPHALIC DISORDERS
Major causes of cephalic disorders is damage to developing nervous system which cause of chronic, disabling disorders, and sometimes death in infants, children, and even adults. Other causes can include hereditary or genetic and environmental exposures during the time of pregnancy. Some cephalic disorders occur when the cranial sutures join prematurely.
SYMPTOMS OF CEPHALIC DISORDERS
Some of main symptoms are:
1. Born blindness.
2. Deaf.
3. Unconscious.
4. Insensitive to pain.
5. Headache.
6. Vomiting.
7. Nausea.
8. Papilledema.
9. Downward deviation of the eyes.
10. Problems with balance.
11. Poor coordination.
12. Urinary incontinence.
TREATMENT OF CEPHALIC DISORDERS
Treatment is symptomatic for cephalic disorders and depends upon the particular type of disorder. In some cases, anticonvulsant medications shunts, or physical therapy are appropriate.
