Bradbury-Eggleston Syndrome is also known as orthostatic hypotension is a sudden falls in blood pressure that occurs when a person assumes a standing position. Bradbury-Eggleston Syndrome may be caused by hypovolemia, resulting from the excessive use of diuretics, vasodilators, or other types of drugs, dehydration, or prolonged bed rest. A degenerative disorder of the autonomic nervous system presenting in middle to late life, affecting men more than women.

CAUSES OF BRADBURY-EGGLESTON SYNDROME
Bradbury-Eggleston Syndrome is caused by those conditions which interfere with the compensatory mechanisms that control blood pressure. Bradbury-Eggleston Syndrome also affects heart's ability to increase its output enough when a person stands. This problem can be caused by heart disease, such as abnormal heart rhythms and heart valve disorders. Some other cause bradbury-eggleston syndrome by reducing blood volume.

Symptoms of Bradbury-Eggleston Syndrome are:
1. Light-headedness.
2. Dizziness.
3. Fainting.
4. Blurred vision.
5. Dizziness.
6. Headache.
7. Blurred or dimmed vision.
DIAGNOSIS OF BRADBURY-EGGLESTON SYNDROME
Bradbury-Eggleston Syndrome is diagnosed as the symptoms are present and there is a measured reduction in blood pressure while standing, which is relieved by lying down. The underlying cause must be determined on an individual basis. Other test may be:
1. Blood Test.
2. Magnetic Resonance Imaging.
3. Computerized tomography scan.
TREATMENT OF BRADBURY-EGGLESTON SYNDROME
One should stop to take doge of such medicine which causes hypovolemia. When the condition is caused by prolonged bed rest, improvement may occur by sitting up with increasing frequency each day. Dehydration may be treated with salt and fluids. Dihydroxyphenylserine an artificial amino-acid may be helpful in certain situations including dopamine beta-hydroxylase deficiency and post-prandial hypotension from various etiologies.
