Binswangers Disease

What is Binswanger's disease
Binswanger's disease can be defined as a form of multi-infarct dementia (Caused by damage to deep white brain matter). It is characterized by loss of memory and intellectual function and by changes in mood.

Causes of Binswanger's disease
Binswanger's Disease is a slow progressive dementia that is characterized by damage to small penetrating blood vessels in the sub cortical regions of the brain.

Signs And Symptoms of Binswanger's disease
Symptoms of Binswanger’s Disease are given below -

1) Mood changes.
2) Disease of heart valves
3) Blood abnormalities
4) Chronic hypertension,
5) Abnormal blood pressure
6) Blood abnormalities
Treatment of Binswanger's disease
The main goal of treatment of Binswanger's disease is to reduce the symptoms. Medications such as hypotension or hypertension are very useful in the treatment of Binswanger’s Disease. There is necessary to control the high blood pressure, low blood pressure, heart arrhythmias and depression.
