Nephropathy - IgA can be defined as a condition of kidney disorder that is characterized by blooded urine. This is also known as a Berger's disease.
Causes of nephropathy - IgA
Inflammation of internal kidney structure is the main cause of Nephropathy - IgA.Berger's disease is a form of mesangial proliferative nephritis. The IGA is a protein which is very normal part of our body's immune system. This disease is also occurs because of heredity. Autonomic dominant gene is responsible for that. IgA nephropathy is a very heterogeneous condition ( presentation varies between families and individuals) .
Signs and Symptoms of Nephropathy - IgA
Symptoms of IgA Nephropathy are given below-
1) Changes in color of urine (dark, bloody, brown, or rust colored)
2) Repeated episodes of dark or bloody urine
Treatment for IgA nephropathy
The treatment of IgA Nephropathy is depends upon the patient's age , medical history , overall health , level of disease, your capacity of tolerance for particular medications or therapies . Treatment of IgA Nephropathy may include some dietary changes, medications. Avoid smoking, cholesterol reduction, control of blood pressure, high fluid intake, and exercise for normal body weight. Main goal of treatment is to reduce symptoms and preventing complications (such as further damage of glomeruli, high blood pressure).
