Autoimmune Hepatitis

AUTOIMMUNE HEPATITIS:-

Autoimmune hepatitis is caused because of intermixing of C virus with infection. Due to this intermixing of virus & infection it damages liver not only by infection but also by body own immune system.

Generally autoimmune hepatitis found in minors.

SYNOMS OF AUTOIMMUNE HEPATITIS:-

1. Auto immune chronic hepatitis.
2. Idiopathic chronic active hepatitis.
3. Lupoid hepatitis.

CAUSES OF AUTOIMMUNE HEPATITIS:-

1. Genetic reason.
2. Circulation of antibodies in blood stream.
3. Absence of menstrual period.
4. Kidney disease.

SYMPTOMS OF AUTOIMMUNE HEPATITIS:-

1. Dark urine.
2. Loss of appetite.
3. Fatigue.
4. Ill feeling.
5. Abdominal pain.
6. Itching.
7. Pale or clay colored stool.
8. Nausea.
9. Vomiting.
10. Frequent development of jaundice.

DIAGNOSIS OF AUTOIMMUNE HEPATITIS:-

The diagnosis of autoimmune hepatitis clinically diagnosed by:-

1. Liver biopsy.
2. Liver functioning test.


PREVENTION OF AUTOIMMUNE HEPATITIS:-

In order to prevent autoimmune hepatitis following methods can be employed:-

1. Medicinal treatment.
2. Operational treatment.


Medicinal treatment of Autoimmune Hepatitis:-
Medicinal treatment of autoimmune hepatitis includes the intake of drugs like prednisone, azathioprine, and mercaptopurine.


Operational treatment of Autoimmune Hepatitis:-
After 2 weeks of medicinal treatment if a subject doesn’t get relief then operational treatment is carried out by transplantation of liver which is costlier and needed more recovery time is more.
