INFORMATION ON LABYRINTHITIS

Labyrinthitis can be defined as a balance disorder or inflammation (viral and bacterial infection) of inner ear.

CAUSES OF LABRYNTHITIS

Labyrinthitis is mostly caused by viral infection. Viral labyrinthitis occurs during a flue like illness such as measles or mums.
Some causes of Labyrinthitis are given below –

1) Injury to your head or ear
2) Infection in Middle ear
3) Brain lining infection
4) Due to some allergies
5) Taken some particular medicines in high doses (Aspirin, Dilantin)
6) Alcohol
7) Tumors in the brain

SYMPTOMS OF LABYRINTHITIS:-

Symptoms of Labyrinthitis are given below –

1) Vomiting
2) Headache
3) Eyes flickering
4) Tinnitus
5) hear loss
6) Nausea

TREATMENT OF LABYRINTHITIS

Treatment of Labyrinthitis depends upon its causes. Treatment may includes –

1) Use of antibiotics in the case of viral infection
2) Balance exercise
3) Use of anti nausea medication
4) Taken Antiviral drugs
5) Dramamine
