Peptic Ulcer
INFORMATION ON PEPTIC ULCER:-
Peptic ulcer may be defined as the sore on the linings of stomach or duodenum. Peptic ulcers are not caused by stress or eating spicy food, but these make ulcer worse.
CAUSES OF PEPTIC ULCER:-
1. Long term use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent.
2. Due to bacterial infection like H. pylori.
SYMPTOMS OF PEPTIC ULCER:-
1. Weight loss.
2. Loss of appetite.
3. Bloating.
4. Nausea.
5. Vomiting.
DIAGNOSIS OF PEPTIC ULCER:-
In order to find symptoms of peptic ulcer clinically, following test should be perform:-
1. X-ray.
2. Endoscopy.
3. Blood test.
4. Urea breath test.
5. Stool test.
6. Tissue test.
PREVENTION FROM PEPTIC ULCER:-
The various method by which peptic ulcer can be treated are:-
1. Medicinal treatment.
2. Operational treatment.
MEDICINAL TREATMENT OF PEPTIC ULCER:-
Medicinal treatment of peptic ulcer includes intake of drugs like anti- biotic for impact of bacteria attack and reduction in acid level of stomach by using acid suppressors.
OPERATIONAL TREATMENT OF PEPTIC ULCER:-
Operational method is only employed when perforation occurs and treatment is out of the reach of medicines.
