INFORMATION ON GALLSTONE:-

Gallstone is a stone like material develop when the liquid stored in gallbladder gets hardens into pieces. The liquid stored in gallbladder is known as bile.

CAUSE OF GALLSTONE:-

1. Obesity.
2. Estrogen.
3. Gender.
4. Age.
5. Diabetes.
6. Rapid weight loss.

SYMPTOMS OF GALLSTONE:-

1. Abdominal pain on upper side.
2. Back pain between shoulder and blade.
3. Nausea
4. Vomiting.
5. Gas.
6. Indigestion.
7. Clay colored stool.
8. Low fever.


DIAGNOSIS OF GALLSTONE:-

In order to predict gallstone following diagnosis are carried out as shown below:-

1. Ultrasound exam.
2. CT scan.
3. Blood test.
4. ERCP test.
5. Colescintigraphy test.

PREVENTION FROM GALLSTONE:-

Gallstone can be removed by following types of treatment:-

1. Medicinal treatment.
2. Operational treatment.


MEDICINAL TREATMENT OF GALLSTONE:-

The medicinal treatment of gallstone can be made by prescribing medicines like actigall, chenix which tend to dissolve the stone.

Some drugs are directly injected to the gallbladder in order to get fast relief.

But this treatment procedure is only applicable for early stage of the stone formation.

OPERATIONAL TREATMENT OF GALLSTONE:-

The operational treatment is carried out when medicinal treatment is not able to cure the subject. For this reason cholecystectomy process is carried out to remove the stone from gallbladder. The most common surgical process is laparoscopic surgery.
