Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome
INFORMATION ON CYCLIC VOMITING SYNDROME:-
Cyclic vomiting syndrome can occur in child age or young age. In cyclic vomiting syndrome a subject may experience frequent or continuous vomiting & nausea session which can last for 4 hours to a day.
CAUSE OF CYCLIC VOMITING SYNDROME:-
1. Infection.
2. Allergies.
3. Sinus problem.
4. Consumption of certain food items.
5. Hot whether.
6. Physical stress.
7. Menstruation.
8. Motion sickness.
SYMPTOMS OF CYCLIC VOMITING SYNDROME:-
1. Severe vomiting.
2. Nausea.
3. Gagging.
4. Exhaustion.
5. Illness.
6. Headache.
7. Unconsciousness.
8. Fever.
DIAGNOSIS OF CYCLIC VOMITING SYNDROME:-
1. Blood test.
2. X-ray
PREVENTION FROM CYCLIC VOMITING SYNDROME:-
Prevention or treatment of cyclic vomiting syndrome includes plenty of rest, sleep and medication that prevent vomiting episode. If severity increases then sudden hospitalization is required and intravenous fluid to prevent dehydration.
