Adhesions
INFORMATION ON ADHESION:--
Adhesion is a band of tissue made up of fibers by which the anatomic part of body gets bind together, which are normally separate from each other.
Adhesion is most commonly found in abdomens. Adhesion some times binds loops of the intestine together.
CAUSES OF ADHESION:--
1. Inflammation of intestinal lining.
2. Surgery of abdomen parts.
SYMPTOMS OF ADHESION:-
1. Nausea.
2. Vomiting.
3. Abdominal pain.
4. Increase in pulse rate without rise in temperature.
5. Pain in body while exercising or while taking deep breath.
6. Constipation.
7. Bloating.
8. Diarrhea.
DIAGNOSIS OF ADHESION:--
In order to detect effect of adhesion following clinical procedure should be in use:-
1. Blood test.
2. X-ray.
3. CT scan.
4. Ultrasound.
PREVENTION METHOD FROM ADHESION:--
Prevention of adhesion can be done by following two methods:-
1. Medicinal treatment.
2. Operational treatment.
MEDICINAL TREATMENT OF ADHESION:--
The medicinal treatment of adhesion includes the intake of drugs such as analgesic pain relievers, anti-inflammatory which relief but only in condition when diagnosis and prediction were made early.
OPERATIONAL TREATMENT OF ADHESION:--
The operational treatment is followed when other methods of prevention is not responding well enough to relief the subject.
The operational treatment includes hysterectomy, adhesiolysis.
But with these surgical processes it is always a chance of redevelopment of adhesion.
Besides all these method deep tissue massage, acupuncture, hypnosis can also be used.
