Liver Spot
DEFINITION
Liver Spot is not related to any liver functions but it is flat brown-black spots which occur in sun-exposed areas of the body. Liver Spot is also known as Age spots.
SYMPTOMS
Liver Spot arises by skin injury which is painless, flat patch change color from light brown to black and the injury is usually on hands, arms, or forehead.
CAUSES
There are some unknown causes also but skin color changes associated with older skin, the pigmentation increases by aging, or ultraviolet light of sun. This disorder often arises after the age of 40.They are found often on the back side of the hand, shoulder, forehead, face, on the forearms, which is mainly exposed by sun.
Liver spots are painless and harmless, but it can change the beauty appearance.
TREATMENT
In most cases of liver spots, treatment is not needed. The beauty appearance of the skin can be improved by creams and bleaching lotions. Lazer therapy is recommended to wipe out the liver spots.
