INFORMATION ON TOOTH SENSITIVITY:-
Tooth sensitivity may be defined as discomfort in one or more teeth that comes in the contact of hot, cold, sweet or sour foods or drinks, or even by breathing cold air. This contact can develop pain that can be sharp, sudden.
CAUSES OF TOOTH SENSITIVITY:-
The events which leads to the development of tooth sensitivity are:-
1. Brushing too hard.
2. Recession of the gums.
3. Gum disease.
4. Cracked teeth.
5. Age.
6. Acidic food.
PREVENTION FROM TOOTH SENSITIVITY:-
1. Maintain good oral hygiene.
2. Use a soft bristled toothbrush.
3. Use desensitizing toothpaste.
4. Use fluoridated dental products.
5. Avoid teeth grinding.
6. See your dentist at regular intervals.
