Tooth Loss

Tooth loss can be defined as a loss of the natural teeth. It can affect the person’s social and physical impairment. It is varying difficult for some people to adjust back to their normal life after the tooth loss because there may be some limitations in chewing, speaking and taste perception with artificial teeth.
So it is need to know that what are the main causes of tooth loss and how we can prevent our teeth from the tooth loss.

Causes of Tooth Loss

There are several causes of tooth loss. The main cause of tooth loss is gum disease and Dental caries that affects the gums and bone structure of the teeth. Heart disease may also be cause of tooth decay. Plaque, which contains bacteria, creates toxin that results tooth loss. In other words we can say that loss of support is the main reason of tooth loss.

Symptoms

Red, swollen or tender gums, shiny gums, bleeded gums are some primary symptoms of tooth loss.
some other symptoms like pus between the teeth and gums ,bad breathe also appears.

Treatment for tooth Loss

to remove deposits from the teeth the teeth have to be cleaned regularly. If there is need to open and clean the deep pockets then surgical treatment is necessary. For advanced periodontitis removal of a tooth may be necessary.

For some peoples, there is need a dental implant to replace their teeth that are lost. Dental treatment is defined as an artificial tooth that is placed into your jaw (to hold a tooth that has been replaced). But proper care is required for dental implant.

Prevention

Regularly brush your teeth having soft bristles (at least twice in a daily). try to prevent your teeth from the gum diseases. Take always balance diet (nutritious food). Avoid sugary food.
