Bad Breath

Bad Breath can be defending as a breath containing an unpleasant smell. It depends on the reason of bad breath that can strike repeatedly or be persistent. The primary culprits of bad breath are the bacteria that live in our mouth. The mouth's warm, moist conditions enhance the growth of bacteria. It is very common problem.

Causes

Bad breath in the mouth can be periodically or be persistent. Bacteria that exist in our mouth, released some smelly gases, coat our teeth and gums. This is the main reason of persistent bad breath. Strong foods such as garlic and onions are some factors of bad breath. Smoking is also one of the main factors of bad breath.

”Morning mouth" is also a type of bad breath but it is very general problem and not health concerns. The main reason of this type of bad breathe is saliva that regularly washout the decayed food and odors (during the day time diminishes) at night. In that time your mouth becomes dry and the dead cells remain to your mouth. These cells are used by bacteria (as a food) that have an unpleasant odor.

Symptoms

Generally a person unable to know that he have some bad breath problem. Others notice and react by recoiling at the smell as you speak.

Poor dental hygiene, Respiratory tract infections sore throat, fever, a greenish or yellowish nasal discharge, a mucus-producing cough), External agents, Dry mouth, Systemic illnesses diabetes, liver disease, lung disease) are some symptoms of bad breath.

Treatment

Treatment of bad breath improves the oral hygiene. For this brush your teeth regularly and in proper manner. Use mouthwashes and clean your tongue from the backside also. While gargling, making an "aahh"
sound that helps to reach the mouth wash in unreachable areas of the tongue . you can drinking plenty of water to avoid dehydration.

Prevention

Always keep your mouth clean fresh. Try to prevent your teeth from any type of dental disease like (gum disease). avoid strong foods like onion, garlic. Smoking and alcohol are some other causes of bad breath so avoid them. Brush your teeth in proper manner .for cleaning between your teeth always use dental floss.

You can use some other products also to clean between your teeth. Peoples who wears dentures, it is need to take them out (mainly in the night). never use toothpaste to clean them it will scratch the surface. To clean them use soap and lukewarm water or denture cream or denture cleaning tablet.
