Heart Failure
Heart is made up of specialized muscles and supplies nutritious and oxygen rich blood to all organs and tissues of our body. Heart always works like a pump and after every circle of contraction and relaxation, alternatively of the heart muscles, all body organs get enough blood from heart for working their function. So we can say that whole body's working depends on heart but sometimes due to few causes pumping power of heart becomes weaker than normal and in this condition heart failure occurs.
Heart Failure is a condition in which heart loses its efficient blood pumping ability.
Heart failure may be possible in following some major dysfunctions.
1. Hypertension or high blood pressure
2. Coronary Artery Diseases
3. Heart Attack due to any reason
4. Cardiomyopathy
5. Valvular heart diseases
6. Chronic kidney diseases
7. Congenital heart diseases
8. Anaemia
Symptoms of heart failure depends on affected heart's chambers because functions of left heart differs from right heart. Left heart pumps oxygen-rich blood to all organs of body so if left heart failure occurs then symptoms will be like lack of energy, tiredness, severe breathlessness, temporary loss of strength etc. Right Heart pumps blood to our lungs so, if right heart failure occurs then symptoms will be related to lungs diseases like chronic bronchitis, lungs failure etc.
Treatment :
Symptoms due to heart failure increases as the time passes so early and fast treatments are required. There are lots of effective drugs are available in market for heart failure like Diuretics, Digitalis, Nitrates, Hydralazine and many more but some other useful advices are there also.
• Patients should loose their over weights.
• Patients should strictly follow the physician's medication and instructions.
• Patients should Leave smoking habit and avoid alcohol.
• Eat healthy etc.
