Treatment of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm :

abdominal aortic aneurysm is at mild condition and symptoms are not very serious the doctos suggests periodic evaluation in which they checks it yearly through ultrasound. But if abdominal aortic aneurysm is at severe condition surgery is last option. If a person has abdominal aortic aneurysm of 2 inches then open surgical aneurysm repair should be followed. Endovascular stent graft is new technology for treating abdominal aortic aneurysm in which thin tubes called catheters that are threaded through our blood vessels. After that surgeon use live x-ray pictures on a video screen to guide a fabric and metal tube, called an endovascular stent graft , to the site of the aneurysm. This process is faster then other surgery.
