INFORMATION ON SMALL INTESTINE CANCER
Small intestine cancer also called small bowel cancer, a rare cancer, is a disease in which cancer (malignant) cells are found in the tissues of the small intestine. Small intestine connects the stomach to the large intestine (bowel). In the small intestine, food is broken down to remove vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, and fats.

TYPES OF CANCER IN SMALL INTESTINE
The types of cancer found in the small intestine includes:-
Adenocarcinoma: Most common type; begins in the lining of the small intestine, usually near the stomach.
Lymphoma: Usually non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma; begins in the lymph tissue in the small intestine.
Leiomyoarcoma: Start growing in the smooth muscle lining of the small intestine
