INFORMATION ON LARYNGEAL CANCER
Laryngeal cancer starts in the cells of the voice box (larynx). Cancer can develop in any part of the larynx. Most laryngeal cancers are squamous cell carcinomas, reflecting their origin from the squamous cells which form the majority of the laryngeal epithelium. Most laryngeal cancers originate in the glottis.

Causes of laryngeal cancer include many factors like

SYMPTOMS OF LARYNGEAL CANCER
The symptoms of cancer of the larynx depend mainly on the size of the tumor and where it is in the larynx. Symptoms may include the following:
1. Hoarseness or other voice changes
2. A lump in the neck
3. A sore throat or feeling that something is stuck in the throat
4. Persistent cough
5. Weight loss
6. Difficulty breathing
7. Pain in the ear
8. Trouble swallowing
DIAGNOSIS OF LARYNGEAL CANCER
Laryngeal cancer can be diagnosed basis of a careful medical history, physical examination, and special investigations which may include Chest X-Ray, CT or MRI scans, and tissue biopsy.

Laryngeal cancer treatment depends on the location, type, and stage of the tumor.
